Jackery reported a significant surge in demand for its portable power and solar generator models, leading to stock shortages just three days after the November 1 launch of its Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Models including the 1000, 2000, 3600, and 5000 series are largely sold out, with most current orders being processed on a preorder basis.

Retail data from October 19 to 26 highlights the scale of the demand increase. Sales at Costco rose by 755%, with units sold jumping from 2,379 to 20,343 in one week. During the same period, sales at Walmart increased by 106%, at The Home Depot by 297%, and at Lowes by 442%.

While the company expects some restocking in late November, broader inventory availability may not recover until early next year. The Explorer 100D remains available in limited quantities at select retailers. Jackery attributes this growth to a combination of climate-related disasters and a broader societal shift toward household preparedness.

Frost and Sullivan has recognized Jackery as the global leader in solar generator sales volume. The company is currently investigating the drivers behind this demand spike, noting that consumers are increasingly prioritizing backup power for emergency resilience, grid stability, and potential energy cost savings.
