IT Universe has released Filestone MFT 3.0, the latest version of its file exchange system included in the Russian software registry. The update focuses on integrating the platform with third-party security tools to protect corporate and government information systems from various threats.
The new version introduces native support for Kaspersky Scan Engine and integration with MaxPatrol SIEM from Positive Technologies. These updates allow for the automated transfer of user data, activity logs, and security incident reports to external Russian-made software solutions.
Administrators can now disable local email-based authentication in favor of corporate directory services. Additionally, the system includes new features for managing personal data consent, anonymization, and specific file-scanning exceptions for archives.
The updated dashboard provides detailed statistics for security personnel, who can now opt to review files sent by users to themselves. The system also features new log rotation settings to manage storage capacity and comply with internal corporate policies.
The development team has overhauled the backend API to improve data classification and collection. Future updates will focus on integrating additional security classes, including DLP systems, sandboxes, and multi-factor authentication tools based on client requests.
