Iran plans to purchase 500 Minsk motorcycles assembled at the Vyazma Machine-Building Plant in the Smolensk region. Governor Vasily Anokhin confirmed the deal, noting that the partnership with the Belarusian Motovelozavod began in September 2025.
The Vyazma facility received official approval for the Hunter 150 and Ranger 200 models in October 2025. Following the arrival of assembly kits in November, the plant completed its first production batch by January 2026. To date, 30 units of the Ranger 200 have been assembled, with 25 already sold.
The motorcycles feature a 16.5-liter fuel tank, a 5-speed manual transmission, and a fuel consumption rate of approximately 2.2 liters per 100 kilometers. The Ranger 200 is equipped with a 200cc, 14.3 hp engine, while the Hunter 150 uses a 150cc, 12.6 hp motor. Both models weigh about 130 kilograms.
Following the Innoprom Belarus exhibition, the Russian and Belarusian parties agreed to boost supply volumes to ensure consistent production levels at the Smolensk plant. The project has already moved into the active sales phase, with electronic passports issued for the vehicles.
