Intel shares have risen by 25% over the past five days, driven by growing market interest in AI agents. These autonomous systems require powerful central processors to perform real-time tasks like web navigation and online shopping, positioning Intel as a key supplier in this sector.

The surge in demand for AI-capable CPUs has led to reports that Intel plans to increase processor prices by 10%. This comes as the company undergoes a major transformation, focusing on its foundry business to compete directly with TSMC for manufacturing contracts.

Strategic partnerships are expanding, with Google selecting Intel Foundry to produce its specialized tensor processing units. Additionally, Nvidia is reportedly considering Intel as a backup chip manufacturer, and SK hynix is in talks to acquire an unfinished Intel memory chip plant.

Intel stock has seen a 159% increase over the last five months, outperforming Nvidia's 49% growth, though trailing AMD's 180%. Over a 12-month period, Intel shares have gained 314%, compared to 293% for AMD and 29% for Nvidia.
