MTS analyzed the demand for domestic business communication tools in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug during the summer of 2026. The industrial sector emerged as the primary user of AI-powered features on the MTS Link platform.
Between June and August 2026, industrial organizations showed a significant increase in interest toward AI solutions compared to the same period in 2025. The use of transcription services doubled, while the adoption of meeting summarization features grew by 100%.
Users frequently employed AI assistants to automatically record meeting outcomes and key agreements. Additionally, the utilization of video enhancement effects, including background replacement, blurring, masks, avatars, color correction, and smart zoom, increased by 50%.
Despite the low business season, the total volume of online meetings in the region nearly doubled compared to the previous year. MTS noted that the platform remains compliant with Russian software registry requirements, ensuring security and operational continuity.
