Impress, a Barcelona-based healthtech company, secured €40 million in venture debt financing from the European Investment Bank. The funds are earmarked for the company's international expansion, specifically targeting markets in Northern Europe including Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK.

The company, founded in 2019, operates over 110 clinics across 10 countries in Europe and the United States. Its business model integrates in-person clinical care with a proprietary AI platform that utilizes a database of 500,000 patients to manage treatment plans and remote monitoring.

Impress reported a revenue of €103 million in the last fiscal year, marking a 32% increase and positive EBITDA. The company projects its 2026 revenue to reach approximately €145 million, representing a 40% growth rate compared to the previous year.

The platform's technology includes 3D intraoral scanning and an autonomous smile simulator capable of generating treatment previews in three seconds. These tools aim to reduce in-person clinic visits by 80% and increase overall clinical efficiency tenfold.

This financing follows a previous funding round of over €110 million in 2024, which supported the acquisition of DrSmile. The current investment is part of a broader trend of capital inflow into the European digital dentistry sector, totaling roughly €161.7 million.
