Huawei launched the FreeClip 2 Collection Edition earbuds on June 15, with an initial retail price of ¥1499. Currently, the device is available on JD.com for a reduced price of ¥1146.8, achieved by combining a promotional discount with government subsidies.
The hardware features a dedicated AI button that triggers the Celia assistant on Huawei devices, or the Doubao assistant on Apple and Android platforms. The charging case utilizes a vacuum coating process and offers 20% more internal space compared to previous designs.
The earbuds are available in Starry Blue and Pearlescent Silver, with each unit weighing 5.1 grams. The design incorporates a C-shaped bridge and liquid silicone materials, which the manufacturer claims are 25% softer than previous iterations.
The device supports a total battery life of 38 hours, with 9 hours of playback per charge. The fast-charging capability provides 3 hours of music playback from a 10-minute charge.
