The project is based on the A5 generation of the Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet, which was produced from 2011 to 2019. An unnamed owner from Germany commissioned the Spanish coachbuilder Hurtan Automobiles to create this one-off vehicle, which features extensive custom bodywork.

The exterior design incorporates new fenders that extend into the front doors, a custom front bumper, and a grille styled after Bentley vehicles with gold accents. The rear of the car features an extended overhang, a redesigned tailgate with an integrated third brake light, and two-story taillights.

Despite the vintage-inspired exterior, the vehicle retains the original Volkswagen Group platform, safety systems, and mechanical components. It is powered by one of the standard TSI or TDI engines originally available for the A5 Beetle model.

Hurtan Automobiles, based in Granada, did not disclose the cost of the conversion. The company has a history of retro-style projects, including previous builds based on the Chrysler PT Cruiser, Jeep Wrangler, and the Mazda MX-5-based Grand Albaycin.
