HurriCache has introduced a RESP-compatible connector designed to allow existing projects to integrate the system without rewriting code. The connector bridges the gap between the strict typing model of HurriCache and the flexible data model of Redis, enabling developers to use familiar RESP API commands while maintaining the system's core performance guarantees.

The implementation follows a strict approach where values resembling integers or floats are treated as scalars, while others are handled as byte arrays. For container compatibility, the system utilizes a Vector as a universal structure. Advanced features, such as distributed locking, remain exclusive to the native gRPC interface to ensure the RESP connector remains a lightweight integration tool.

Compatibility testing against Redis 4.0 through 7.0 showed that the connector passes over 80% of implemented commands, with behavior matching Redis 7.0 for standard operations. In performance benchmarks using redis-benchmark, HurriCache demonstrated competitive speeds and improved tail latency, with maximum GET request latency recorded at 1.35 ms compared to 5.5 ms for Redis.

The system is available via Docker images, including versions with and without AVX-512 support. Clients for C++, Java, Go, and Python are provided to facilitate testing. While the server source code remains closed, the developer offers support for cluster configuration and pilot deployments for multi-node scenarios.
