Huawei has initiated the rollout of the HarmonyOS 7 update, version 7.0.0.107SP10, for the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 series. The update is currently being distributed to users who successfully registered for the public beta program.
The system interface features new lighting effects for watch faces and task lists, alongside enhanced depth in the workout and calculator apps. New additions include the Light Dome watch face and customizable modular watch faces that support components like weather and pet animations.
Health and fitness features have been expanded with new themes for emotional health tracking and a family space feature for monitoring relatives' data. The innovation research app now includes a coronary heart disease risk assessment, while the Pro model gains improved golf tracking capabilities.
Workout tracking now includes AI-generated analysis for exercise records and expanded skiing modes with map support. Cyclists can connect high-end power meters and trainers, with improved slope visualization for ride data. Alarm settings now allow for custom vibration intensity and synchronization with ringtones.
To receive the update, users must ensure their device is currently running version 6.1.0.116SP11, 6.1.0.116SP12, or 6.1.0.125SP15. The update also renames the 'Always-on Display' setting to 'Screen-off Display' and adds a shortcut to the control center.
