MTS has opened pre-orders for the new Huawei MatePad Air tablet. The device features a 12-inch OLED PaperMatte display with 2.8K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. The screen utilizes nano-etching technology to reduce glare by 50% compared to standard matte displays.
The tablet is 5.3 mm thick and weighs 509 grams. It is powered by a 10,100 mAh battery supporting 66W Huawei SuperCharge Turbo, which allows for a full charge in 85 minutes. The device is available in white, sky blue, and cherry blossom pink colors.
The tablet supports the Huawei M-Pencil Pro stylus and a magnetic keyboard. Software features include the GoPaint app, WPS Office, and AI-powered tools for handwriting improvement and tutoring. The keyboard weighs 308 grams and offers a 1.5 mm key travel distance.
Pricing for the MatePad Air starts at 65,990 ₽ for the standard Wi-Fi model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The PaperMatte versions range from 68,990 ₽ for 8 GB+256 GB configurations to 78,990 ₽ for the 12 GB+256 GB model.
