Huawei is reportedly preparing to launch its Mate 90 series flagship smartphones on September 29 at 14:30. This information comes from a leak by a blogger, as the company has not yet released an official announcement regarding the event date.
The upcoming Mate 90 series is expected to feature the latest Kirin flagship processor. Reports suggest that the devices will retain the signature star ring design, with the RS model featuring an octagonal shape. The camera configuration is rumored to include a triple-lens setup combined with a single periscope telephoto lens.
The new Kirin 9050 Pro processor, which is the first logic-folding tau chip, has already been officially released. According to reports, the Mate 90 Pro Max model is expected to be the device that best showcases the performance capabilities of this first-generation tau chip technology.
