Huawei has reached a significant milestone for its budget-friendly smartphone series. According to He Gang, head of the company's consumer division, total sales of the Enjoy line have exceeded 160 million units over the past 11 years.

The series debuted in October 2015 with the Enjoy 5 model, which featured a 4000 mAh battery. Over the years, the lineup evolved to include 5G connectivity, starting with the Enjoy Z 5G in 2020, followed by the Enjoy 20 series.

Following the imposition of US sanctions, Huawei transitioned to Snapdragon platforms limited to 4G for its devices. However, the company successfully moved away from this dependency in 2026, marking a shift in its hardware strategy.

The announcement precedes the launch of the new Enjoy 100 series, which is scheduled for release on October 28. The lineup has maintained its position in the Chinese market by focusing on affordability and battery life.
