Huawei has launched the beta testing phase for Celia Work, an AI assistant designed for office tasks, programming, and creative design. The tool is compatible with HarmonyOS smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Users can download the Windows client version 0.6.9 and request access via the Celia app on HarmonyOS computers.

The assistant autonomously breaks down tasks, schedules steps, and utilizes software tools. Users can monitor progress and approve key stages. The service supports cross-device collaboration, allowing users to manage tasks remotely from mobile devices, view progress, and receive notifications. It operates on both local and cloud-based environments.

Celia Work utilizes a points-based system for task consumption. Paid subscription data is retained for 7 days after expiration, while data from free promotional access is deleted immediately upon expiration. The service integrates multiple AI models, including Huawei Cloud Pangu, DeepSeek, MiniMax, Zhipu, and Moonshot.

The platform collects device information, system attributes, and user-uploaded files, which are encrypted on servers. A memory feature stores personal preferences and work data for cross-session synchronization, though Huawei states this data is not used for model training. Specific system permissions are required for file processing and voice input.
