Huawei has reached a significant milestone for its HarmonyOS platform, with the operating system now installed on approximately 95.3 million devices as of October 20. The company is currently moving toward its target of 100 million installations, a goal set by executive director Yu Chengdong to be achieved before winter.

The platform's growth is supported by a large developer community, which exceeded 11 million members by June 2026. Additionally, the AppGallery store now hosts more than 380,000 applications and services. These figures reflect the ongoing expansion of the ecosystem across various hardware devices.

Market data indicates that HarmonyOS is strengthening its position in the mobile sector. In the first quarter of 2026, the operating system secured second place in the Chinese market, capturing a share of approximately 19 percent. Huawei continues to integrate the system into its latest product releases.
