Huawei has updated its official list of mobile devices compatible with Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 7+ standards. The latest documentation confirms that the Mate 90 smartphone series and the MatePad Air Z tablet series now support Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

The Mate 90 series also features Huawei's proprietary Wi-Fi 7+ technology. This chip-level coordination solution is designed to enhance signal performance and interference resistance in environments with poor Wi-Fi coverage.

Access to the Wi-Fi 7+ functionality is restricted to devices running HarmonyOS 6 or higher. Additionally, the Huawei MatePad Mini series requires a system update to version 6.0.0.328 or later to utilize Wi-Fi 7 capabilities.
