Huawei has released version 6.0.0.320 of its proprietary music creation application, Harmony Music, on the App Gallery platform. The update expands device compatibility, allowing users of MatePad Mini and Mate XT 2 to access the software for the first time.

The application, which entered public beta testing on June 1, covers the entire digital music production cycle, including composition, recording, arrangement, and mixing. It provides access to over 200 classical Western and Chinese musical instruments.

According to Zhu Dongdong, president of Huawei's tablet and PC product line, the development of the app took approximately three years. The company aims to digitize classical instruments found in museums to enable high-precision sampling for music producers.

The software requires significant hardware resources to function. Consequently, installation is restricted to devices running HarmonyOS 6.1 or higher. Huawei remains the primary developer of this tool, as there is currently a lack of similar professional music software in the domestic market.
