Astra Academy and MIEM HSE have launched an IT workshop focused on developing an intelligent procurement monitoring system. A team of five students will build a prototype capable of automatically collecting data from electronic platforms, analyzing technical documentation, and assessing procurement relevance for business needs.
The project covers data pipeline development, intelligent document analysis, and UI creation. Students must follow industrial standards, including code reviews and architectural validation. Specialists from Astra Academy will provide consulting on integrating the system with domestic IT infrastructure.
The workshop is scheduled to begin in the autumn semester of 2026. Participation is competitive, requiring skills in Python and database management. Students are expected to dedicate 15 to 20 hours per week to the project, allowing them to balance the work with their regular academic curriculum.
Upon completion, the team will deliver a functional software prototype, source code, deployment instructions, and system architecture documentation. The initiative aims to provide students with practical experience in building solutions using the Russian software stack.
