Honor has announced that its upcoming flagship, the Magic 9 Pro Max, will feature a hybrid SIM system. The device supports two physical SIM cards and two eSIMs simultaneously, allowing users to manage four numbers with a Dual Standby mode for two active lines.
The smartphone will be equipped with a 6.8-inch flat LTPO display featuring a resolution of 2868 x 1320 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen uses Black Diamond technology with 5600 silicon nitride layers, which reduces reflection to 1.5%.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor. It features an 8800 mAh battery with 100 W wired and 80 W wireless charging capabilities. The chassis is rated IP69K for durability and includes dedicated buttons for AI and camera functions.
The camera setup includes two 200-megapixel sensors for the main and periscope modules, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 55-megapixel front-facing camera. The official launch of the Honor Magic 9 series is scheduled for September 28.
