Health Force, a developer of AI agents for hospital operations, has secured €4.2 million in a seed funding round. The investment was led by LUMO Labs, Step Venture, and Next Tier Ventures, with participation from existing investors Target Global and Calm/Storm Ventures.

Founded in Vienna in 2022 by Fadi Haddad and Juan Sebastian Suarez Valencia, the company automates administrative tasks such as insurance claims processing. Its platform operates by logging into existing hospital systems using dedicated credentials, avoiding the need for complex API integrations.

The startup currently manages over 200,000 patient cases annually in partnership with Italian hospitals, including Humanitas Research Hospital and Ospedale Galeazzi. It has also expanded to Portugal, where it supports government quality reporting at ULS Coimbra.

The company plans to use the new capital to expand into France, Spain, and Germany, and to hire eight additional employees by the end of the year, bringing the total headcount to sixteen. New hires will include deployment strategists and engineers for each market.

The funding will also support the development of new AI agents, including one focused on clinical trial operations. The company intends to focus exclusively on the European market, aiming to become a leading provider of AI-driven hospital operational solutions.
