Habr and Sber have announced the new 'Code of the Future' article season, focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence into software development. The event runs from September 11 to November 11, 2026. Participants are invited to share practical experiences regarding AI implementation, open source, and security.

The competition covers three main tracks: AI-Disrupt PDLC, which explores rethinking development cycles; the synergy between open source and AI; and the evolution of DevSecOps in an agent-based environment. Authors can submit new articles or those published on Habr since January 1, 2026.

Sber's GitVerse platform, which currently hosts over 140,000 projects and serves more than 200,000 users, supports these processes through integrated tools like GigaCode, GigaIDE, and GigaStudio. These solutions form an agentic ecosystem for code generation, testing, and application development.

Entries must be posted in the 'Artificial Intelligence' hub with the tag 'сезон Код будущего'. The jury will select winners based on article ratings. The top 15 authors will receive merchandise, and winners will be awarded cash prizes after the final short-list is determined.
