Students at the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas have completed a specialized training course within the Modernization of Distributed Infocommunication Systems discipline. A group of 21 students successfully mastered the R7 Corporate Server 2024 software suite.
The curriculum focused on integrating the software with Alt Workstation and Alt Server operating systems developed by Basealt SPO. Participants gained practical experience in deploying infrastructure, configuring directory services, and managing corporate environments.
The training program also covered the implementation of monitoring and administration systems for collaborative tools. Upon completion, the students received certification as engineers, confirming their proficiency in working with domestic Russian IT solutions.
These skills are intended to prepare graduates for professional roles in both state-owned and commercial organizations. The course emphasizes the practical application of Russian operating systems in building modern IT infrastructures.
