Grayscale identified three crypto projects, DATA Network, USD.AI, and Pearl, as potential beneficiaries of the expanding AI sector. In an October 23 research note, Head of Research Zach Pandl noted that these projects target distinct infrastructure needs, including data licensing, hardware financing, and computing power optimization.

DATA Network focuses on licensing AI training data and recently received a $30 million investment from the Sui Foundation. The project plans to migrate to the Sui blockchain. Despite these developments, the token price has declined by 42.07% over the last 90 days to $0.15243.

USD.AI facilitates onchain loans for GPU hardware, supported by a $100 million financing facility from Bullish announced in August. The CHIP token price rose 47.98% over 90 days to $0.04386, though it remains 69% below its April peak.

Pearl integrates blockchain mining with AI compute workloads. The token price increased 528.24% over 90 days to $2.00, despite a 19% retreat from its October 21 record. The project faces supply risks with 1.2 million new tokens entering circulation daily and a fully diluted valuation of $4.2 billion against a $713 million market cap.
