Google has expanded its experimental AI agent, CC, to support shared household use. Up to six family members can now connect their accounts to a single agent, which aggregates information from Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive to create a daily summary called Your Day Ahead.

The agent operates with its own verified Google account, allowing it to participate in chat threads and email chains. Users can configure auto-share lists for specific senders, such as schools or airlines, and manually forward documents like invitations or schedules. CC manages tasks, fills out registration forms, and drafts meal plans based on shared data.

Technically, each CC agent runs on an isolated cloud instance powered by Google’s Antigravity framework and the latest Gemini models. This architecture enables the agent to perform complex tasks, such as calculating travel times via Google Maps or generating shared documents and spreadsheets.

Google emphasizes that the agent is restricted to group members and does not share data externally without explicit consent. The service is currently available on web and mobile platforms in the United States for users aged 18 and older with personal accounts.

The project originated in December as a single-user tool for daily briefings and was integrated into the Gemini app as Daily Brief in May. Existing users will receive upgrade notifications via email, while new users are currently being added to a waitlist.
