Google has entered into a long-term strategic energy agreement with the US energy company Constellation. The total capacity of the deal is 3.59 GW, which is divided into two distinct components.

The first part involves 890 MW of new nuclear power capacity, scheduled to come online between 2028 and 2032 with a 20-year term. The second part covers 2.7 GW of flexible capacity for a period of 15 years.

Under the agreement, Google will provide funding for Constellation to upgrade 11 nuclear power units across multiple states. This construction phase is expected to create approximately 7,200 jobs.

Additionally, the companies formed a five-year technical alliance involving Google Cloud and Gemini Enterprise. The partnership aims to develop an energy AI blueprint to optimize asset scheduling and infrastructure security.

The parties also established a strategic framework to evaluate opportunities for developing new clean energy generation, energy storage, and demand response technologies across the United States to support Google's growth.
