Google has launched a new application called Viewer, which is now available on the Google Play Store. The tool is specifically designed for Googlebook devices and serves as a comprehensive media editing suite.
Upon the first launch, users can enable AI-powered suggestions. This feature identifies dates within content to suggest calendar entries and provides navigation routes using Google Maps integration.
The application includes a dedicated toolbar for image editing tasks, such as cropping, rotating, resizing, and adding annotations or text. Users can access these tools directly from the main interface.
For PDF documents, Viewer allows users to add text, signatures, and annotations. The interface features a sidebar for page previews and selection tools that enable users to move or modify existing elements.
The built-in video player includes a shortcut button that redirects users to the photo editing module, allowing for quick transitions between media types.
