The Google Pixel 11a is expected to launch in the spring of 2027 with a potential price increase to $599, up from the previous $499. The device will feature a design language consistent with the Pixel 9a and 10a, including a flush camera module that has been updated to a shorter oval shape.
Under the hood, the smartphone will skip the Tensor G5 chip in favor of the Tensor G6, which will also power the Pixel 11 series. Google is moving away from Samsung modems, opting for MediaTek solutions to improve signal quality and call stability. The device will also include the Titan M3 security coprocessor for data encryption.
The display is a 6.3-inch 1080p panel with an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 60Hz to 120Hz. Peak brightness is rated at 3350 nits, with a high-brightness mode reaching 2250 nits. The battery capacity remains consistent with previous models, featuring a typical capacity of 5100mAh and a minimum of 4870mAh.
The camera setup includes a 48MP main sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide lens, lacking a dedicated telephoto option. The front-facing camera is expected to be upgraded to a 10.5MP sensor. The phone will ship with Android 17 and receive seven years of software and security updates.
Available in four colors—Obsidian, Fog, Olive, and Orchid—the device measures approximately 153.46 x 72.35 x 9mm. Despite the slight reduction in length compared to the Pixel 10a, the overall ergonomics are expected to remain largely unchanged.
