The custom-built Kubb Fanless mini PC features a chassis made of 24-karat gold, commissioned for a specific client. The device is priced at $1.7 million, significantly higher than the standard aluminum model, which retails for $1,800. The gold casing increases the weight of the compact 12x12 cm unit from 2.1 kg to approximately 13 kg.

The gold housing serves as a passive cooling system, leveraging the metal's thermal conductivity of approximately 314 W/(m·K) compared to 205 W/(m·K) for aluminum. The top-tier configuration includes a 12-core Intel Core Ultra X7 358 processor, with alternative options such as the Intel Core Ultra 5 225H or AMD Ryzen AI 5 340. The system supports up to 128 GB of RAM.

Storage options include a 1 TB SSD with space for an additional drive. Connectivity features consist of USB4 or Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, two Ethernet ports, and support for Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7. The PC is powered by an external 120 W adapter.
