Former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Blackstone CEO Jonathan Gray, and Tata Sons Chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran participated in a panel at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum in New Delhi. The discussion focused on how artificial intelligence influences global capital flows and geopolitical power dynamics.
The event, held from October 13 to 15, 2026, marked the eighth edition of the forum and the first time it was hosted in India. The plenary session, titled The End of Predictability, addressed leadership challenges amid economic uncertainty driven by AI.
More than 500 global leaders attended the conference, which also featured Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a speaker. The forum coincided with the 30th anniversary of Bloomberg operations in the Indian market.
The participants represented three distinct perspectives: policy, capital, and industry. Sunak previously hosted the 2023 AI Safety Summit, while Blackstone and Tata Sons were highlighted as key private-sector contributors to the ongoing AI discourse.
