Ghost AI has secured $11 million in a funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz. Additional participants included Abstract, Audacious Ventures, Nova, and SV Angel. The startup is led by 19-year-old CEO Zain Javaid.
The company is developing Core, a dedicated personal computer designed to run AI agents locally. The device features an Nvidia RTX Pro 4000 SFF Blackwell GPU and supports open-source models such as Qwen-3.8 and Gemma-4-31B.
Core operates without a monitor or peripheral devices, relying on a smartphone and web application for control. The system includes a firewall and full encryption, with users retaining control over their encryption keys.
The first batch of devices was priced at $3,499 each and has already sold out. Ghost AI is currently accepting registrations for interest in a second production batch.
