Geely Auto has announced the official launch of the updated Emgrand Xiangshang series, scheduled for October 25. The new model retains the core dimensions of the current compact sedan, measuring 4630 mm in length, 1820 mm in width, and 1470 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2650 mm.

The exterior updates focus on design details, including a redesigned front grille with wider vertical slats and a modified front bumper with black accents. The rear bumper now features chrome trim, and the vehicle is equipped with a new design of alloy wheels. The overall silhouette and fastback styling remain consistent with previous versions.

Inside the cabin, the most significant change is the installation of a larger central touchscreen display. Due to the increased screen size, the central air conditioning vents and certain physical buttons have been relocated downward. The interior continues to feature a black and brown color scheme, along with a mechanical gear shifter and physical controls.

The powertrain remains unchanged, utilizing a 1.5L inline four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine. It delivers a maximum power of 88 kW and 150 Nm of peak torque. Customers can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT that simulates 8 gears. The suspension system continues to use front MacPherson struts and a rear torsion beam.
