Geely has officially announced its entry into the Canadian market, with the first vehicle sales scheduled for 2027. The company has established a local division, Geely Auto Canada, to manage operations and build a retail and service network across the country.
The automaker is currently searching for local retail and service partners to support its long-term strategy. While specific models, pricing, and technical specifications remain undisclosed, the company plans to select a range of vehicles from its existing global portfolio.
Geely’s expansion into Canada follows significant global growth. In 2025, the group sold over 3.02 million vehicles worldwide, including nearly 1.69 million electrified models. Sales figures for the first nine months of 2026 exceeded 2.23 million units.
The Canadian operation will leverage Geely Auto Group’s global engineering and manufacturing capabilities. The company intends to focus on electrification, vehicle safety, and intelligent features, with further details on the lineup and dealership locations expected in the coming months.
