Gate has officially introduced trading for Taiwan-listed stocks, expanding its global financial services. The platform now supports 19 initial securities from the Taiwan Stock Exchange, including major companies such as TSMC, MediaTek, Hon Hai Precision Industry, Quanta Computer, Chunghwa Telecom, and Fubon Financial Holding.
The service allows users to trade stocks directly using USDT, eliminating the need for manual currency conversion into New Taiwan dollars. While trading fees are calculated in USDT, the platform displays market data, portfolio valuations, and profit figures in TWD. Trading is available during the regular continuous sessions of the Taiwan Stock Exchange, specifically from 01:00 to 05:25 UTC.
With this addition, Gate now provides access to five major markets, including the U.S., Hong Kong, Japan, and Korea. The platform supports over 12,800 stocks and ETFs globally. Users can engage in fractional trading starting from 0.01 shares and receive stock dividend entitlements, alongside support for corporate actions like stock splits.
The expansion strengthens the presence of Gate TradFi in Asian capital markets. The company continues to integrate digital assets with traditional financial services, offering a portfolio that includes global stocks, ETFs, metals, and indices. Future plans involve further expansion into major global capital markets and asset classes.
