The startup ISHO, established by former Redmi CEO Wang Teng, is scheduled to host its inaugural product launch on October 29. The company's initial hardware lineup features the ISHO Ring smart ring and the iFlow intelligent temperature control system.
Wang Teng previously led Redmi until his departure from Xiaomi in September 2025. The corporation cited the disclosure of trade secrets and internal policy violations, including conflicts of interest, as reasons for his termination. Wang Teng acknowledged professional errors but denied allegations regarding the sale of confidential data for financial gain.
ISHO plans to focus on health and sleep-related technologies. The company intends to position its pricing strategy between Xiaomi and Huawei. According to the founder, the startup aims to combine Huawei's investment approach in research and development with Xiaomi's operational efficiency to produce high-end devices.
