A survey by the telephony service Novofon reveals that 78% of financial organizations struggle with clients ignoring their calls. Other sectors facing high non-response rates include legal firms at 40%, real estate at 33%, and wellness services at 25%. Overall, 73% of businesses report a decline in call efficiency over the past year.

The primary reasons for ignoring calls include general distrust due to spam and fraud (83%), data leaks (45%), aggressive sales tactics (43%), and the use of AI-powered robocalls (35%). Additionally, 18% of respondents noted that clients fear financial loss when answering unknown numbers.

To improve connectivity, 40% of companies now use verified business accounts in messengers, while 30% send SMS notifications before calling. Only 18% of surveyed firms have fully implemented call labeling, while 35% are considering it and 20% have no plans to do so.

Despite these challenges, the financial impact remains limited for most. Only 5% of companies report regular loss of clients or deals, while 40% describe their losses as minor. Meanwhile, 30% of businesses acknowledge losing potential clients but cannot quantify the exact financial damage.
