Fiat is evaluating the potential production of the Multiplay concept, which was unveiled at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The vehicle aims to blend the versatility of an MPV with the rugged aesthetics of an SUV, drawing inspiration from the original Multipla model launched in 1998.

Company leadership, including new boss Arnaud Belloni, views the project as a significant step toward diversifying the brand's family vehicle lineup. The design concept focuses on maximizing interior space within a compact footprint, with a projected length of less than 4.5 meters.

To manage manufacturing costs and retail pricing, Fiat plans to utilize existing components and platforms from the broader Stellantis portfolio. Development is expected to take at least two to three years, provided the project moves forward following the current evaluation of public interest.
