The Fiat Multiplay concept, which debuted at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, may enter production before the end of the decade. CEO Arnaud Belloni stated that the company intends to reintroduce a family-oriented vehicle to its lineup, potentially reviving the Multipla nameplate. The concept is currently being evaluated as a priority for the brand's future product strategy.
The concept vehicle measures 4.45 meters in length and features a modular interior with six seats and an additional space for pets. Its design allows the rear roof and third row to slide forward, converting the minivan into a four-seater pickup truck. The design team aims to position the model as a distinct alternative to traditional SUVs.
Feasibility of the project depends on customer feedback and the ability to utilize existing components from the Stellantis parts bin to maintain cost efficiency. Design head François Leboine noted that the production version would likely be released in two to three years at the earliest. The final model may share technical foundations with the Fiat Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback.
