FGV Capital is merging its growth consultancy and venture divisions into a single brand. The firm focuses on fintech and aims to support founders with go-to-market strategies through its integrated infrastructure.

The company has launched its second fund, Fund II, with $35 million. The fund's strategy focuses on the intersection of fintech with AI, healthcare, and commerce. It took approximately 18 months to raise the capital.

Limited partners in Fund II include Bank of America, MassMutual, and the Reinsurance Group of America. The firm seeks LPs who can provide business guidance to portfolio companies in addition to capital.

The fund plans to invest $1 million to $1.5 million into at least 25 companies over two years. It has already backed 13 companies from this fund. Previously, the firm raised a first fund of $25 million.

Overall, FGV Capital has supported around 40 companies, including Possible Finance and the pet insurance provider Wagmo.
