Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna recently evaluated the redesigned Tesla Roadster, awarding it a perfect score of 10 out of 10 for both its technology and presentation. Vigna shared his assessment during the Quattroruote automotive conference, shortly after Tesla demonstrated the vehicle's capabilities at its facility in McGregor, Texas.

The demonstration featured the Roadster performing stunts, including driving upside down and utilizing compressed-gas thrusters. While media reports suggest Tesla is targeting a 2028 market release for the model, Vigna focused his comments on the engineering and staging of the event rather than the delivery timeline.

Vigna highlighted Tesla's collaboration with an external design studio as a key factor in the project's success. He noted that this approach mirrors Ferrari's own strategy for its first fully electric model, the Luce, which was developed in partnership with Jony Ive's design firm, LoveFrom.

The Ferrari executive emphasized that such collaborations allow companies to address perspectives they might otherwise overlook. Ferrari continues to expand its electrified lineup, incorporating both battery-electric vehicles and a focus on biofuels as part of its broader development strategy.
