FAW Group and GAC Group have officially launched a joint working group. The inaugural meeting took place on October 22 at GAC Group headquarters, attended by FAW Chairman Qiu Xiandong and GAC Chairman Feng Xingya.
The collaboration follows a strategic framework agreement signed by the two companies on September 29. The partnership aims to leverage capital and asset integration, drive technological innovation, and improve operational efficiency through cross-regional resource coordination.
Additionally, on October 8, FAW, GAC, and Toyota signed a separate strategic framework agreement in Guangzhou. This tripartite deal focuses on resource optimization, the establishment of a regular communication mechanism, and joint efforts in electrification, intelligent transformation, and localized operations.
