Anker's brand Eufy has introduced the Video Doorbell S4, marketed as the first smart doorbell to feature VR viewing capabilities. The device is priced at $299.99, with shipments expected to begin by the end of October 2026.

The VR mode allows users to view panoramic footage from various angles by moving their smartphone or using a VR headset. When a visitor presses the doorbell, the user receives a notification similar to an incoming call, which opens a full-screen VR interface with two-way audio support.

The hardware features a 3072x3072 resolution, equivalent to approximately 9 megapixels, and records 3K HDR video at 24 FPS. The lens provides a 180-degree field of view both horizontally and vertically, supported by an 8x zoom and dual spotlights for color night vision.

The device integrates the OmniTrack AI system to automatically lock onto and center subjects within the frame. Detection is powered by a combination of radar and dual PIR sensors, covering distances up to 8 meters. It supports human, motion, package, and facial recognition.

Compatibility includes Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit, though the latter requires the separate HomeBase S380 gateway. Features such as VR viewing and OmniTrack AI remain exclusive to the official Eufy application.
