EOS-X Space has secured $120 million in a funding round led by Global Emerging Markets, reaching a valuation of $1.2 billion. This follows a $140 million Series D round from May, bringing the company's total funding for 2026 to $260 million. The capital is earmarked for US expansion, industrial capacity growth, and the development of civil and military technologies.

The company plans to launch its first commercial flights by the end of 2026. These flights involve a five-hour journey in a helium balloon capsule reaching an altitude of approximately 40 kilometers. Each capsule accommodates eight to nine people, with ticket prices set at $200,000 per passenger. European operations from Spain are scheduled to commence in 2027.

EOS-X Space aims for a future public listing with a target valuation of $4.5 billion. The company reported a valuation of over $230 million in July 2025, which grew to over $650 million following the acquisition of a US rival. Financial projections target revenue exceeding $500 million and positive EBITDA for 2026.

The firm acquired its capsule technology from the Florida-based company Space Perspective in July 2025. CEO Kemel Kharbachi noted that the business model extends beyond ticket sales. The company is currently navigating a timeline that has shifted from an initial 2023 launch target to the current 2026 goal.
