Barcelona-based Enzo Ventures has successfully closed its second investment fund, securing €20 million. This new capital is specifically earmarked for pre-seed stage startups founded by entrepreneurs from Southern Europe, continuing the firm's strategy initiated in 2023.
The firm's first fund, which totaled €10 million, focused on supporting early-stage founders and diaspora entrepreneurs. With the second fund, Enzo Ventures aims to scale its operations while maintaining its original investment thesis of identifying promising talent before the wider venture capital market.
Enzo Ventures plans to deploy individual investments ranging from €250 000 to €600 000. The fund has already completed three initial investments, including backing the London-based company Cori Clinical, as well as startups located in Madrid and Zurich.
The firm was established by Edgar Vicente and Ivan Fernandez Lucas to address a perceived lack of early-stage, founder-friendly capital in Southern Europe. The partners aim to support founders who are globally ambitious and maintain strong ties to their regional talent networks.
