The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) began testing the Mythos AI model from Anthropic on September 10, 2026. This collaboration follows months of negotiations, which were delayed by US export controls on advanced AI systems.

Mythos is designed for defensive cybersecurity tasks. During preliminary tests, the model identified more than 10,000 zero-day vulnerabilities. It also demonstrates an exploit generation success rate of over 83%, surpassing the performance of the Opus 4.6 model.

The partnership is part of Project Glasswing, an initiative launched in April 2026 to manage access to Mythos. The program started with 50 organizations and expanded to over 200 partners across more than 15 countries by June 2026.

Anthropic recently secured a funding round of $65 billion, bringing the company's valuation toward $1 trillion. The firm has also filed for an initial public offering as it continues to expand its institutional partnerships.
