Russian software developers Emdev and Graftech have entered into a technology partnership to integrate their corporate product lines. The collaboration focuses on combining Emdev's Incomand digital workspace platform with Graftech's suite of tools, which includes the Avtograf diagram editor, the GrafDoc document management system, and the GrafBoard collaboration platform.
The integration aims to eliminate silos by allowing users to access and manage technical documentation directly within the corporate portal. Employees will be able to edit diagrams in Avtograf, initiate approval workflows in GrafDoc, and track document versions without leaving the Incomand interface. This approach embeds specialized technical tasks into the company's existing business processes.
According to Emdev CEO Alexey Kakunin, the partnership addresses a common customer demand for seamless access to technical documentation within a unified digital environment. Graftech CEO Petr Vasilenko noted that the companies plan to prioritize the most requested features and will continue to expand integration capabilities based on direct feedback from their corporate clients.
