Dzen and the Global Fact-Checking Network (GFCN) have entered into a partnership to combat the spread of misinformation online. The agreement was signed by Dzen Managing Director Alexander Tolokolnikov and GFCN President Vladimir Tabak.
The collaboration focuses on sharing expertise and methodologies for fact-checking. Both organizations intend to develop new approaches for processing news content, specifically integrating these practices into Dzen's AI assistant, Glyph.
The partners plan to launch educational initiatives, including workshops and materials for journalists, content creators, and editors. These projects aim to improve media literacy among Dzen users, teaching them how to verify sources and identify false information.
According to GFCN Vice President Daniil Bisslinger, the initiative seeks to combine IT tools with professional fact-checking. The goal is to equip the audience with the skills necessary for digital hygiene in an era of synthetic content.
