Dune has introduced real-time market data feeds specifically designed for institutional clients, including hedge funds, asset managers, and brokers. The service provides data on spot and perpetual futures trades sourced from more than 200 decentralized venues across 12 blockchain networks, such as Ethereum, Solana, and BNB Chain.
The company claims its feeds cover approximately 90% of onchain spot trading volume. For derivatives, the platform tracks perpetual futures markets with an estimated daily volume of $9 billion. These feeds are intended to integrate directly into existing institutional market data systems to facilitate price discovery for onchain assets.
Performance metrics for the new service are measured at the 95th percentile. Dune reports a latency of 1.34 seconds for spot trade data and 590 milliseconds for perpetual futures. CEO Fredrik Haga stated that onchain trading currently represents roughly 25% of total spot trading volume.
The launch follows a September 2026 decision by the SEC to grant a five-year exemption allowing certain venues to trade tokenized US stocks without full exchange registration. This regulatory shift enables round-the-clock trading, creating a demand for reliable pricing data outside of traditional market hours.
