Dune has introduced a real-time market data service that tracks activity across more than 200 onchain trading venues. The platform delivers data from 12 distinct blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, Base, and XLayer, with a latency of approximately one second following trade execution.

The service provides standardized information on trade sizes, transaction details, and pricing. It covers spot trading on decentralized exchanges and perpetual futures on platforms like Hyperliquid and Lighter. The tool is designed to integrate decentralized market data into the systems used by traditional financial institutions.

According to CEO Fredrik Haga, the initial client base includes quant funds, market makers, asset managers, and bank trading desks. These firms utilize the data to analyze liquidity, compare prices across various venues, and refine trading strategies before deploying capital.

The launch occurs as the tokenized stock market experiences significant growth, with total distributed value reaching $3,58 billion, up from $627 million a year prior. However, the sector faces challenges, including market fragmentation and objections from issuers like Microsoft, Alphabet, and Goldman Sachs regarding the trading of their shares on specific platforms.
