Crypto casino and sports betting platform Duelbits has suspended its operations following a security breach on September 24. Hackers compromised the platform's hot wallets, resulting in an estimated loss of $7 million across multiple blockchain networks.

The stolen assets included 836 ETH, 1.62 million USDT, 97 000 USDC, 209 BNB, and 192 000 TRX, with additional losses reported on the Bitcoin and Solana networks. Investigators believe the incident stemmed from a private key leak.

The platform, which holds a license from the Curacao Gaming Authority, reported that the stolen funds were moved to new addresses and laundered via cross-chain bridges and swap protocols. This marks the second major security incident for the company in two years.

Previously, in February 2024, Duelbits experienced a similar wallet drain, losing approximately $4.6 million. The total losses from both breaches amount to roughly $11.6 million.

A co-founder of Duelbits stated that user funds are secure, as they are kept in cold storage separate from the operational hot wallets. The company plans to replenish its hot wallets and resume platform operations.
