The Dubai Police force has expanded its patrol fleet with the addition of a Lamborghini Temerario. This vehicle was introduced through a partnership with Lamborghini Abu Dhabi and Dubai, following a similar move by the Italian police force.
The supercar features a hybrid powertrain consisting of a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine and three electric motors. This configuration delivers a total output of 907 horsepower, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 2.7 seconds.
Officials state that the vehicle will be deployed in high-traffic areas and tourist destinations. The primary objective is to increase the visibility of the police presence and facilitate engagement between officers and the public.
According to Brigadier Saeed Al Hajri, the inclusion of such vehicles is part of a broader strategy to combine security operations with community outreach. The fleet serves as a platform to promote police services to residents and visitors.
